Day 4, Saturday: Favorite quote (from a person, from a book, etc) and why you love it
I have never been a great fan of quotes. But if I have to pick one its got to be this.
A silent man is a wise one.
A man without words is a man without thoughts.
What will be, will be.
Life is what you make it.
Never too old to learn.
You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
You are obvious way more deep then my Nobody puts baby in the corner quote. I really enjoyed yours

Hey Nina... Nice. One of my fave's:
ReplyDelete"It's nice to be important, but, much more, it's important to be nice."
Have a great day, Slu
Your picture is beautiful. And I like each and every one of your quotes!
ReplyDeleteFor every quote out there, there is an equal and opposite quote somewhere else!” - Quote of Newton!
ReplyDeleteAaaah....I loved it! :)
That's the beauty of balance Nature likes to throw over our head each time we think we are smart! :)
ReplyDeleteNice selection!
That's an awesome quote! You're right: it's so true!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fun blog challenge. Good luck! I'll be back to read more. :)
So true. Clever lady having thought of this.

Ah quotes, a wonderful and meaningful way to weave words.
ReplyDeleteI love that pic, where is it?
Good examples! All quotations are essentially half-truths and like all half-truths, they are half-false as well.
ReplyDeleteYes--so true. I can't count how many times I've posted a quote on facebook, and someone has rebutted it. lol. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo, the equal and opposite quote to this one should read something like,
ReplyDelete"A quote not which is not out there yet, has no equal and opposite quote elsewhere!"
wait... that just sounds like a corollary to your quote! I'll try again:
"For every equal and opposite quote existing somewhere, there exists a quote"
...hey wait again, doesn't it mean the same as the original quote, despite being equal & opposite!
Guess I'll not overanalyze and just take your word for it :)
Hi Nina .. I see your avatar in my followers and hadn't realised who it was - now I do having gone via Jen Forbes' recent blog post.
ReplyDeleteTwo ears one mouth .. is like your 'a wise man is a silent one' ..
Waste not want not .. in this day and age .... cheers to you - Hilary
No, no, you're not thinking; you're just being logical.
